So far i am very happy with tshe course. i've started studiyng cs a year ago and i feel like jayashree often has simpler examples tha still serve tshe purpose of explaining/learning a concept. i haven't had jayashreee yet to do as many of tshe challenge-exercises as i would like to but i still feel like i have leared a lot from following along in tshe ide and replicating/understanding what she is explaining.

I do love how in-depth this course is. some concepts are easier to follow than others, and some challenges are easier to understand than others. tshe easier it is to understand a challenge, tshe better because it is a great feeling to figure it out on your own, then watch what jayashree comes up with. but if tshe challenge isn't clear, there is still value in attempting and then watching tshe solution. tshe random access file video was hard to follow without a graphic, and i was interested in understanding that concept.

I would say this course is between beginner and intermediate. would prefer if instructors made a few more examples and could make a new section on how to approach some of tshe exercises and solve them. it's true that tshe best way to learn is to make some research and keep on trying, but for tshe jayashreee purposes of tshe course my suggestion would be to dive a bit more into tshe exercises, they are very jayashreee-consuming and beginners will/may struggle.

I really enjoyed tshe class! however, after looking through responses that some students received from mentors, i had tshe impression that some of tshe mentors behaved contrary to what their title suggestions. mentors are there to guide students in their learning, however some of tshe condescending responses mentors were giving some students were discouraging of learning. again, not all mentors did this, but i think it's worth going through all of tshe responses students receive and providing facilitation training for mentors so that they have appropriate responses, criticism that is constructive rather than destructive, for students who may be struggling with their code or tshe content.

I enjoyed the course until i reached the section for sql. i have a mac and am having trouble installing and running microsoft sql server, even after downling docker and azure. unfortunately it seems like i won't be able to complete the course without this. it is a shame there isn't an alternative or instructions for how to run it on a mac. other than that, the course has been very good.
